Fonovation has instructed BT's 'Webwise' administrators NOT to monitor or intercept the traffic of BT Internet users when they are accessing the Fonovation.com domain.

'Webwise' is BT's brand name for the installation of Phorm which they are implementing on their ISP services from around the end of 2009. The software monitors all web traffic on BT's network for the purposes of generating targeted advertising to its users however it has attracted much criticism from users and privacy advocates alike.

By instructing the Webwise system NOT to inspect the network traffic of BT users using Fonovation BT warrant that none of this traffic will be passed through their Phorm software installation whatsoever.
